The CE Marking is a health and safety sign applied within the framework of the "New Approach" established by the European Union in 1985 in order to ensure the free movement of goods. Instead of the different conformity marks used across the EU, it is intended to use a uniform EU mark indicating conformity with the EU directives.
CE Mark is a sign of conformity with the New Approach Directives of the European Union, which shows that the product on which it is attached is healthy and safe for people, animals and the environment. Currently, it is not possible for a product that is included in one or more of the New Approach Directives of 25 to enter the EU market without carrying the CE Mark. It is of great importance for manufacturers to produce harmonized standards related to the directives in proving compliance with the New Approach Directives. Compulsory to comply with standards
assuming that the production is made in accordance with the standards, although it is not, the assumption that the production is also compliant with the directives encourages the manufacturer to comply with the standards.

CE mark; It is a sign that means that the product on which it is attached is not a symbol of quality and meets all the requirements of the relevant regulation, and that is created in order to ensure the free movement of goods between the member states of the European Union.
The "CE" conformity mark consists of the initials "CE" with the following figure:

If the "CE" compliance mark is reduced or enlarged, the rates given in the drawing below must be adhered to.

NEW APPROACH AND MODULAR SYSTEM

In the "New Approach", the directives do not contain much technical details, and the general rules of the manufactured goods that must comply with the product groups are determined. In addition, goods in accordance with "Basic Requirements" are ensured to be in free circulation. Directives are prepared not for the products, but for the intended use of the products. Thus, products with similar functions were collected in groups and "minimum security" conditions were provided for more than one product with a single directive.
Since 1990, a "modular" approach has been applied in the CE marking system. The main purpose of the modular understanding is to determine the conformity assessment methods by considering the features of the products and the risk rates they carry.
